It is very clear from her accent and manner of speech that Lina is from Detroit, Michigan. She has apparently moved here for work - as a legal secretary for Boden Law - and hasn't been here long.
Not too much is known about her in the wider mortal community. To the Accorded community, she is known as a woman associated with the Uratha. To the Uratha themselves, she freely offers legal, financial and culinary support.

Appearance
Entirely average in pretty much every way, Lina isn't the kind of woman to stand out from the crowd. She reaches a mediocre 5'4" tall, with a build that is neither model-thin or carrying too much excess.
Her skin is uniformly a dull caramel hue, and her curly black hair is shoulder-length and usually tamed into a severe braid. Her eyes are a very dark brown, often partly obscured by her ever-present glasses. Were one to guess, she's probably in her early-to-mid thirties.
