The pack meet to discuss what Silvia and Griffiths found.

+----+ Silvia +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Silvia's reached out to all the members of the pack, and this, apparently has included Lina. She must be In? Or maybe that's what this is about! Maybe it's about a few things. She's made her way here with Griff. She's clearly been for a swim in the lake, and so has Griff, though they're mostly dry now, the scent of the lake water clings to them. Silvia's claimed a table, there's a lot of food, mostly wings, because wings are the go to, and beer.

Silvia's quiet, a hint of a frown on her face threatening to overwhelm that normally easygoing, relaxed attitude she always puts on as she devours chicken and waits.

+----+ Griffiths +-------------------------------------------------------------+

Griffiths clutches a thumping head, one thigh still nervously touching Silvia's. The Cahalith has not strayed far from her side since their lakebound return - a nervous affectation. There's the smell of over-worry, on her, as well as the lake. All of that undercut by Rage. Lakes, and lakes, and lakes of rage - like an Uratha pushed to the very brink of Kuruth, a bonfire half-burnt and then extinguished. In contrast to Silvia, she does not eat - her face gaunt and her eyes like two burning pinpricks in her large, lumpy face.

+----+ Norman +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Norm comes into the old style speakeasy with about the normal look. He's definitely curious to find out what Silvia wants, but any excuse to see what the rest of the pack is up to will get him to turn up. "Okay so I was watchin' this thing on Netflix about aliens and UFOs and that shit is SCARY." Big eyes. Serious. "You know what Griff needs to try out some of that mojo if she wants to scare somebody. Chainsaw is good and all but I am not feelin' the little gray midgets, man. I'd flip my shit and kuruth, I tell you what." So yeah he's been binging some TV.

+----+ Lina +------------------------------------------------------------------+

Not far behind Norm is Lina. For once she isn't carrying tins of baked goods, having turned up for once empty-handed. She looks slightly harried, as if she hurried to get here, and as she moves in she lifts a hand in silent greeting to those here.

+----+ Silvia +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Silvia gives a half smile to Norm as he arrives, seeming appreciating that comment. It undercuts some of the tension between the two Storm Lords, and she finishes up her wing while gesturing to the table invitingly. "Hey, good to see ya," she mutters, leaning back and rolling her shoulders. She gives Lina a glance, inclining her head.

"Guess I should cut right to it, we got a fuckin' problem. Griff and I found a spirit in the Shadow tonight that's an issue." She says quietly, glancing aside at the Cahalith. "It's ... a house, actually. South of here, almost at Lincoln square, on George street."

+----+ Harlow +----------------------------------------------------------------+

There could be zero blame for what Norm has been binge watching laid at Harlow's feet. Not a bit. Nope.

She's a little behind Norm, and even Lina, but arrives like she purposefully was the last to arrive. Not that she might have gotten distracted and almost forgot to show. But her timing, as always, is rather perfect as she's just in time to hear the last of what Silvia said.

+----+ Griffiths +-------------------------------------------------------------+

Griffiths shakes her head, snarling from behind her teeth. "What it was, was somethin' wearin' the skin of a house. Used a.. fear spirit, like an anglerfish uses a lantern. Lured me in, chewed me up. I... raged. Raged too far. Only Silvia... usin' the Big Voice got me out in time. I nearly died, 'cause... I panicked, about the Frightling hurtin' Silvia. Shit's fucked, mate."

+----+ Norman +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Oh good. Just what Norm needed to hear about is a problem! He sits though, grinning to Lina and making room for her when she gets to sitting. "So what's it doin? It's a spirit hidin out as a house? The whole house is a spirit? Cause that's a big soundin' spirit." Not that such things are outside the imagination of someone like Norman. He can imagine lots of horrors. Somehow he's so focused on this conversation so far that he doesn't notice Harlow ghosting in after him.

+----+ Lina +------------------------------------------------------------------+

Sitting at the table, Lina simply listens. She doesn't know anything about spirits or whatnot - pretty much the only edge she has on the Uratha is more lived-experience of being afraid. But right now that isn't relevant, so she simply reaches for a wing and pays attention.

+----+ Silvia +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Silvia's looking over the group, and nodding along to what Griff says. "Dunno yet, mate. Could be a fuckin' entire house spirit, could be just something that's attached to the house -- but it's there. A lot of hatred pouring out of it onto an otherwise nice street. I looked across while we were there, it's a lot fuckin' smaller here, the house. Got a for sale sign in the yard, freshly sold by the look of it."

+----+ Harlow +----------------------------------------------------------------+

"I can find out who owns it...owned it. The history." Harlow offers, since delving into public records is a cake walk. Most of them being, public, it doesn't even require anything fancy. She reaches into her pocket, pulling out a small wheel of cheese, the sort in the shiny red wrapping that ever soccer mom in the universe stocks their fridge with.

+----+ Griffiths +-------------------------------------------------------------+

Griffiths nods gratefully, at Harlow - her massive, shaggy head looking a little more forlorn and worn than even the usual shabbiness. "Appreciate it, sis. You... well, I wanna hunt this thing. I don't wanna /just/ hunt it, mark you. I wanna eviscerate it. Shred it into tiny little pieces, an' ship each of those individual peaces to the FUCK THAT zipcode. Then, I wanna make every spirit in the area never even fuckin' speaks it's name again. Which is to say, I feel we should Siskur-dah. Will you all join me on this?"

+----+ Norman +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Norm visibly startles when Harlow speaks up, eyes going to her immediately. "Oh hey Harl..." he says quietly, trying to play off that he was startled. He looks between the others then, notably Lina and Silvia, before agreeing, "I'm always up for a sacred hunt, Griff. Spirits ain't my sacred prey though so someone else lead it. I know what to do for humans but I ain't really equipped for spirits."

+----+ Lina +------------------------------------------------------------------+

Pressing her lips together in thought, Lina regards Griffiths for a moment, then sits back, slowly eating bits of chicken from the wing she took. "I.. have no idea if I have a part to play in your hunt. I assume not, but if I can support somehow - maybe I can help Harlow with research or something?" she asks the group.

+----+ Silvia +----------------------------------------------------------------+

"That's the plan, Griff, but we gotta figure it out first. Work out what it operates on, figure out it's bane. We will hunt it, yes." She looks from Griff to Norm, giving a nod, and then to Harlow and Lina. "Okay, that's a good idea. I was gonna see if Lina could look into that shit too, figure out what's going on with the fuckin house on this side." A pause, and she notes, "If you wanna be involved, Lina. We haven't talked about it officially I guess, if you wanna join us and all."

+----+ Harlow +----------------------------------------------------------------+

"Spirits aren't really my usual enemy, either." Harlow is probably as friendly with spirits as a wolf can get that isn't an Ith. Spirits know ALL THE SECRETS. But she's also fully equipped and able to assist, regardless. There's a bit of an eye narrow at Silvia before she wonders, "What were you going to ask me to do, then?"

+----+ Griffiths +-------------------------------------------------------------+

Griffiths grunts at Harlow. "Your best, I imagine. Can't imagine you're the sort of chica to half-ass this stuff, innit." She addresses the broader group. "I'm gonna be a bit of a dead-heavy weight until it's actually time to rip an' tear. That means doin' as I'm told by people that research an' recon good... so I'd appreciate guidance from all of you."

+----+ Norman +----------------------------------------------------------------+

"Other than my claws and teeth, Liberty will punch holes in a spirit. My normal weapons probably won't do a lot of good against spirits unless I can work the bane in somehow." Being a typical Rahu, that is about as good as Norm can do. He's not nearly as educated about spirits as Harlow, much less Silvia or an Elodoth. "Griff unless we get your chainsaw fetished up or somethin you'll probably have to lay in with natural weapons too I'm thinkin'." He then looks to Silvia as well, curious on her thoughts for Lina and Harlow.

+----+ Lina +------------------------------------------------------------------+

There's a nod from Lina, and she falls quiet again, finishing off her chicken wing and setting it down on a napkin or something. She looks between Silvia and Harlow, also curious.

+----+ Silvia +----------------------------------------------------------------+

"I dunno Harlow, what are you good at?" Silvia says, eyeing the Irakka and lifting her brows. There's a brief grin there. "I know Lina's got legal connections and shit. I don't know anything about looking into owner history of a fucking property or whatever. If you can do it too then that seems cool to me." She reaches for her drink, distracting herself with a mouthful of it. "It's probably worth checking the actual place out here, too. See what the fuck we can figure out and all that."

+----+ Harlow +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Well isn't that a way to shut her up! Harlow opens her mouth, then closes it, frowning at Silvia before she narrows her eyes. It's clear that she's having some sort of inner debate on if this was all on purpose or if Silvia really has no idea what she's good at.

Has she ever said? Good fucking question. This might all be her fault.

+----+ Griffiths +-------------------------------------------------------------+

Griffiths gently bumps her forehead into Silvia's shoulder, wordlessly trying to get her attention. "Is there any way you can charm up Stabatha so she can make the jump through the Labyrinth? I really want her by my side when we do some very destructive DIY on this house, from the Hisil side. I... could use my hands, but I'd rather hear her sing. I want her to join in on my howlin', y'know love?"

+----+ Norman +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Norm looks between Harlow and Silvia, grinning. He knows what Harlow's good at! He's not saying though. Harlow can tell it herself. For whatever reason he keeps quiet about it. "Lina you're protected from most of the dangerous things spirit-side when you stay on this side of things. Most of it anyway, assumin' they don't slip a few spirits through to the real world or possess people or somethin'." Which is meant both to reassure Lina and to suggest how she's useful, probably.

+----+ Lina +------------------------------------------------------------------+

There's a thoughtful nod from the Blooded. "I can do the search on the property records - what I can't do easily is then look up the details on the owner, beyond their basic identity." She glances over to Harlow with one brow raised, silently querying if that is something the Irraka could do.

+----+ Silvia +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Silvia watches Harlow, and then spreads her hands, giving a shrug. "I want your help. I want all of your help," she says to the group at large. "Are we all in this together or fuckin' what?" There's a sidelong glance to Griff though, a little nod and she questions with amusement, "Stabatha? Sure, we can make sure. Should be fine." There's a nod for Lina and Norman, too, she's falling quiet as she looks at the rest of the pack.

+----+ Harlow +----------------------------------------------------------------+

"I can tell you how many cunt hairs they've got." Harlow replies absently when Lina gives her the look. She might not //actually// be able to do that. Maybe. Irraka, though. So she might actually make a game of it, too. "Sure, sure...we're all in this together." She glances between Giffs and Silvia for a moment before leaning towards Norm and in a not so quiet voice wonders, "They fucking now?"

+----+ Griffiths +-------------------------------------------------------------+

Griffiths mumbles, self-consciously - "Stabatha's my chainsaw. She's been adjusted with shock absorbers on the motor, so a Gauru can swing her. Movin' belt, yeah? With an engine seated in the case. Whack that bastard too hard, an' the chain would go flyin'. You actually gotta fiddle a bit with machines t'make it so they don't just explode into screws when used by our war-forms. It's a fascinatin' bloody science, an' I'd love to walk you through it some time, mm?" She tries to hide how excited she is, but by the bouncing of her thigh underneath the table it's plain as day.

+----+ Norman +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Norm says to Harlow in a whisper that is completely obvious, "Yeah. I matched em up." He seems a little proud of himself! Then he speaks up to Griff, "I'm pretty sure you can just haul your chainsaw across to the Hisil no problem. I took my rifle before, no problem. And it's just a normal rifle no magic spirit mojo or nothin."

+----+ Lina +------------------------------------------------------------------+

Taking another chicken wing, Lina nods to Harlow's colourful response. "Alright. What's the actual address of this place?" she asks those who know, ready to make a note of it on her phone so she can do the research. Then, starts eating the second chicken wing.

+----+ Silvia +----------------------------------------------------------------+

"Fuck yeah we are," Silvia answers Harlow's loud question that wasn't directed at her, shameless. There's a fingergun motion and she gives a little laugh, nodding at Griff and Norman. "Yeah. Should be fine Griff. God. A giant fuckin' gauru with a chainsaw, that's a sight, I'm sure." She grins, though her expression sobers a little at the question from Lina. "... you know, I didn't get the house number. It's on George street ... off Southport Avenue. I'll find out."

+----+ Harlow +----------------------------------------------------------------+

"Huh." Harlow replies, straightening up and looking even //more// suspicious for some reason. But she keeps whatever it is to herself, instead she finally starts to open the piece of cheese she's been hanging onto so that she can shove it into her mouth.

+----+ Griffiths +-------------------------------------------------------------+

Griffiths plants a kiss on Silvia's cheek, waving a friendly, wiggling hand to her pack. "I'm gonna take a jog. I think better when I jog. Me an' Norm will be bringin' up the vanguard on the Hisil side of things, an'... it's been a while since I fought in a pack. I wanna get my head in the game, go over the lessons that were clipped aroun' my ear when I was a cub. Then... I'ma take a bath, an' hit the nice warm bed back at Lakeview. Catch you all for a war council soon, yeah?"

+----+ Norman +----------------------------------------------------------------+

As he watches Griff go, Norm waits a minute and then says, "She got real bugged huh?" He's asking Silvia mainly, since she seemed to have been present and knows what's up. "I hope it don't trip her up. Griff's a big girl." He reaches for Harlow's leg then, nice and out of the way so it's not obvious to everybody, and squeezes a little. "Hey you thinkin' of blowing it up or burnin' it down?"

+----+ Lina +------------------------------------------------------------------+

Doing a little Google Maps search, and then turning on street view, Lina hands her phone over to Silvia. "Scroll around, stop when you see it," she tells the Ithaeur.

+----+ Silvia +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Giving a goodbye wave to Griff, reaching for another chicken wing, Silvia nods. "Yeah, she got spooked by another spirit. There's ... some fuckin' history she's workin' through about her old pack, y'know?" She says thoughtfully, a little eager smile at the idea of blowing up the evil house. She does take Lina's phone though, wiping her hands on her jeans after setting the wing down again, and then stares at it. "Oh fuck, this phone has too much computer in it," she grumbles, and -- painfully slowly -- starts to look through the street view.

+----+ Harlow +----------------------------------------------------------------+

"Well, blowing it up burns it down." Harlow points out reasonably, which doesn't actually answer what her entire plan is with the house. The physical house. She probably hasn't found a way to sweet talk explosion spirits into killing other spirits yet. "But it depends, really." When Silvia mentions Griffs old pack, she nods, "See-You-Later." She might be misremembering the actual name here, but she at least knows what Silvia is talking about.

+----+ Norman +----------------------------------------------------------------+

"Yeah she's always talkin' about that You-Soon punk." replies Norm, nodding to Silvia. He apparently does not think highly of this spirit that haunts Griff's past. "It's You-Soon. I dunno, can't be that bad." How the hell does HE remember it? He does try to catch a look at Lina's phone though to get an idea of which house they're talking about.

+----+ Silvia +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Silvia's scrolling through the streets on the phone, and she frowns. "Is this phone fuckin' broken?" She mutters. "It's ... not here. It should be /here/," she hands the phone back to Lina, at '1434 W George street', "The houses on either side look right. This tiny little thing with that empty yard isn't what I saw. In the Hisil it's fuckin' huge though, a Place-That-Isn't, you know? And that feeling of hate just fuckin' reached out and slapped me in the face as we got near." She looks at Norm in regards to Griff's person vengeance quest, clearly she's got Thoughts on this, but they're kept to herself for now. With that, she shakes her head. "Alright, well. Guess I'll start workin' on figuring out this spirits whole deal. Cheers cunts."
