Midnight Rider - Allman Brothers

Well, I've got to run to keep from hidin'

And I'm bound to keep on ridin'

And I've got one more silver dollar

But I'm not gonna let 'em catch me, no

Not gonna let 'em catch the midnight rider

Highway to Hell - AC/DC

No stop signs, speed limit

Nobody's gonna slow me down

Like a wheel, gonna spin it

Nobody's gonna mess me around

—Let me see what I can do.

History

Description

Mask

An unruly mane of thick hair so dark brown as to be almost black is combed roughly back, falling to just a little short of his shoulder. His face has a distinct rough, chiseled look as if he were carved from a chunk of stone or hard oak, and the artist hadn't cared to perform the final refinements of his work. A small but apparent scar cuts through the dark hair on the left side of his heavy and brooding brow, beneath which eyes the color of darkened oak peer. A dark beard, trimmed short, frames his face and adds to his vaguely bestial appearance.

He is a tall man, six feet and four inches in height, and built like a linebacker. Powerful muscles lie tight across his chest. His shoulders are broad and his arms strong, with pronounced forearms and thick wrists giving way to large hands, roughened by work and crisscrossed with numerous scars from minor cuts or burns. Much of his muscle mass seems to come from hard work and physical exertion, so he lacks a degree of the balance and definition one might associate with a professional bodybuilder. Still, this seems to enhance the impression of strength rather than detract from it. He probably weighs in at a relatively lean 250 pounds or so.

Randall dresses in a casual and relaxed style, wearing a worn and scuffed but well-cared-for leather jacket over a dark green t-shirt stretched tight across his broad chest. The coat is a modest affair, favoring functionality over form, lacking the crisscrossing of bright shiny zippers, straps, and snaps that some people prefer in favor of just a handful of more practical dull gray zippers that secure the pockets. The shirt is tucked into a pair of faded and slightly frayed jeans suspended by a broad belt of black leather, while heavy boots, the kind you might see on a hiking trail or a construction site, cover his feet.

Mien

There is little doubt to Randall's seeming. Short, downy, brown fur covers his flesh, and his proud and strong face possesses a broad nose and ears that taper slightly, identifying him as one of the Savage, though his stature is not one of the smaller types.

His hair is an unruly thick mane, so dark brown as to be almost black. It lies rudely pushed back, falling to just a little short of his shoulder, and no matter how much attention is given to it, it seems to defy attempts to tame it. His face has a distinctly lupine cast, and his canine teeth are slightly pronounced, indicative that he is most likely a hunterheart. A scar cuts through the dark bushy hair on the left side of his heavy and brooding brow, beneath which eyes of a pale blue seem almost to glow. A dark beard, trimmed short but raggedly, refuses to be tamed as it frames his face and adds to his bestial appearance.

As said before, he is a tall man, six feet and four inches in height, and built like a linebacker. Powerful muscles lie tight across his chest. His shoulders are broad, and his arms strong, with pronounced forearms and thick wrists giving way to large hands roughened by work. Numerous scars from cuts or burns crisscross his upper body, covering his chest, back and arms though they are most heavily concentrated in his strong hands. Much of his muscle mass seems to come from hard work and physical exertion, so he lacks a degree of the balance and definition that one might associate with a professional bodybuilder or athlete. Still, this seems to enhance the impression of strength rather than detract from it. He probably weighs in at a relatively lean 250 pounds or so.

Randall dresses in a casual, worn-down style, wearing a faded and scuffed leather jacket, its once dark surface showing faint cracks, over a deep green and slightly ragged t-shirt stretched tight across his broad chest. The coat is a modest affair, favoring functionality over form, lacking the crisscrossing of bright shiny zippers, straps, and snaps that some people prefer in favor of just a handful of more practical dull gray zippers that secure the pockets. The shirt is tucked into a pair of faded and slightly frayed threadbare jeans suspended by a broad belt of black leather while stained and scuffed heavy boots, the kind you might see on a hiking trail or a construction site, cover his feet.

He is incredibly strongly connected to Summer and the power associated with it. The smell of dust and sage hang heavy in the air around him. Just standing near him, there is an almost palpable presence to Summer's anger, like the feeling of electricity in the air before a sudden storm. He seems not simply to be a repository of rage but to radiate it, the energy coming off of him in waves like the sun's merciless heat as it bears down upon the desert.
