Description
Man? Woman? Other? It depends on how Lucero is feeling on any given night. What remains consistent is that Lucero has a slender frame, lightly-tanned skin, a dark brown wig, and eyes that drink in everything ey sees. Eir movements are smooth and precise, drawing little attention unless ey want to.
For casual wear, Lucero tends to wear a simple, comfort-focused outfit in muted colors. No point in unnecessary attention, after all.
When ey're feeling spicy, ey wear revealing clothes that accentuate eir shallow curves and fluid movements but still leave something to the imagination. Enough to get the mind working but not enough to truly stand out in a similarly dressed crowd.
Eir working clothes are eye-catching with bolder colors and accents made to catch the light. They also stop just short of revealing The Goods in order to draw in potential clients.
History
Growing up in Michigan to lower-class parents wasn't easy but Lucero managed. Eventually turning to street walking, Lucero became the kind of whore that lonely, desperate clients would spill their guts to in the privacy of a hotel room, and ey learned a lot this way. Ey also eventually discovered that one of eir less forthcoming clients was a vampire who had taken an interest in eir talent for drawing information out of people, and after several years of preparation, ey was Embraced into the Mekhet lineage.
However, the gulf between Kindred society as described and Kindred society as it actually was repulsed Lucero, who viewed the city social structure and covenants to be less about surviving as vampires and more about cowing and exploiting others. This, along with eir convicition that eir Sire was still keeping secrets from em eventually lead to Lucero becoming estranged from eir sire and spending most of eir requiem on the fringes.
One night, Lucero heard from a friend that eir sire had been involved in some kind of incident and had been executed for it, and that the authorities were looking for em as well. Lucero grabbed what ey could and skipped town, heading for Chicago despite the danger travel posed. Upon arriving, Lucero was disappointed to find the same social structures in place for Chicago's Kindred, but ultimately wound up joining the hands-off Praxis of the Undercity, staying largely uninvolved with supernatural affairs.
In recent nights, however, a burst of strange events has piqued eir curiosity, leading Lucero to rejoin the night life on eir own terms...
