MaskThere's a near-permanent furrow between the bold ink-stroke eyebrows that frame his dark eyes, and a subtle weathering of lines at their corners. He is not old, and he moves with the fluidity of youth, but his features are weathered and there's a hint of gray in the stubble that peppers his jaw. His dark eyes are clear and deep, capable of a clarity of vision that pierces, unveils, and unravels. His voice is smooth and measured, with a soft, nothing accent -- but long hours, strong liquor, or strong emotions break the facade to reveal his true voice: rougher, lower, warmer. MienInk flows across the weathered vellum of his skin, leaving features marked in bleeding watercolor. There's a hint of autumn's smoke in the air about him, and a smoldering hint of fire at the crisping edge of his hair, burnt dark. There are words scribed on his skin in dead and forgotten languages: forged by ink, forged by blood, forged by soul. The MundaneRazi Andreas was always a high achiever. An excellent student, from youth all the way through law school. It earned him a coveted position at a Big Law firm in New York City following graduation, where he thrived -- and labored -- for nearly a decade, until his mid-30s. It was a bit unexpected when he quit rather suddenly to move halfway across the country to Chicago, but Big Law is notoriously demanding, and sometimes people simply burn out. Sure, perhaps it was particularly sudden, and without much hint or warning of issues before that, but sometimes that's just how these things pan out. And moving from Big Law to in-house at a corporation -- in this case, Omega Pharmaceuticals -- is a fairly common shift for someone in his position. So in the end, while his managers and colleagues in New York may have scratched their heads for a good while, and been disappointed at the loss of talent, no one could point out anything truly egregious in his behavior. Since his arrival in Chicago and his start at Omega, he has worked to Senior Counsel status within the swarm of lawyers in the Legal department, touching a variety of areas -- compliance, acquisitions, mergers, IP, and so on. Perhaps his upward momentum is not quite as ambitious as it was before, but he has certainly earned a reputation for a scarily methodical diligence, and an ability to hone contracts and agreements to eerie perfection. The MagicalIn truth, Razi Andreas -- the real Razi Andreas -- only had a few years at that firm in NYC before he was taken, and a fetch left behind in his wake. As for many Lost, the length of Razi's durance is somewhat hazy in his memory, although he has been left with the impression that his time in Arcadia was longer than his time away from the mortal world. His escape is clearer: the lingering memory of unraveling the words that kept him there, the way he stayed even longer to ensure that he could bring Fiametta with him as well. Until, finally, freedom. The impetus for his move to Chicago did, in fact, originate entirely from Razi's return and recovery of his life. Several years after his move, he has established himself as an active member of the Autumn Court, and one who seeks to maintain good relationships with the others, as well. And as a Notary, it seems he never truly lacks for tasks he can assist with in the Freehold.
