Background
Ramon is a hungry boy, always on that grind, that hustle, looking for his next meal, his next dollar, his next opportunity. He was born on the mean streets of Chicago to a Columbian family. His mother abandoned him. His father may or may not be alive, and frankly he didn’t give enough of a shit to find out.
Ramon started with the regularjobs. A burger place, a convenience store, even the occasional Craig’s list gig. He’d move furniture, garden, or work retail if absolutely necessary but he didn’t quite have the work ethic or interest to make anything stick permanently. In addition he started acting out at school a bit. He couldn’t quite let things go. He’d throw a sucker punch here or there. Sometimes he’d skip class to make more time for work. Over time he’d steal things from his gigs because they were barely paying and his bosses treated him like human garbage. When he scrimped enough for a phone and a junker car he worked through the various rideshare and delivery apps until he totaled the thing.
Ramon splits time between his grandpa, his fake jobs, his ‘’real’’ job, and generally mooching off people and crashing on their couches. He doesn't feel like dedicating himself to any group or to anything besides the more abstract connection to his neighborhood.
