Parker

Parker has an athletic build, his skin touched by a faint tan that shows he doesn't shy away from being out in the sun. He has brown hair and bright blue eyes that are as expressive as they are observant. His hair is cropped short on the sides and just a tiny bit longer on top, styled lightly. He has a straight nose, lips that part into an easy smile beneath a neatly trimmed moustache. His jawline is also graced by a beard that is kept trimmed and short. He appears to be in his late twenties, perhaps, and stands roughly six feet in height.
Parker grew up in Montana, part of a large extended family pack, raised mostly by his uncle along with his cousins after his mother was killed. He was trained to hunt and work outdoors on the ranch. He got along alright with his cousins but they were often competitive -- none moreso than he and his cousin Luke (NPC). He was in the news for a couple of days when he was around 12 when he got separated from a hiking group and got lost in a cave. They found him after three days. Eventually he would go on to become a park ranger in the same park and would help others who got lost or injured to find their way out. He didn't mind the solitary life that he lead most of the time. It was quiet except when it wasn't. There were storms, fires, lost hikers, vandals to track down, campers to check in on, wildlife to observe, and in the more peaceful hours, a beautiful landscape to appreciate. But even a man who is comfortable with solitude, even one with his constant spirit companions, sometimes feels the tug of family. He considered going home for a while, back to his cousins and their extended families. But then he got a text from Luke telling him there was some shit going on in Chicago and asked if he'd come out and check in on Luke's girlfriend and their daughter. Chicago definitely wouldn't have been his first choice for relocation but he needed a change of pace and a change of scenery. Plus, for as competitive as they were when they were young -- he liked Luke. By the time that he'd packed up and made arrangements, though, Luke's messages had gotten more infrequent then stopped altogether. By the time he arrived, Casey (NPC), Luke's girlfriend said he hadn't been around in almost a week. So now he's helping out Casey and trying to figure out what happened to Luke while deciding what to do next with his own life.
