Description

One of the country's most diverse zip codes, Albany Park has a vast panorama of ethnic communities and businesses - Korean, Middle Eastern, Thai, Indian, Mexican and more. The area is home to both North Park University and Northeastern Illinois University, and as such has a significant student population.

Cutting through the North Park neighbourhood is the North Branch Trail, 20 miles of walking, biking and jogging paths that run along the Chicago River, through Ronan Park and River Park. Other areas of interest include the Makki Masjid Mosque and the Lawrence Fish Market sushi restaurant.

Transport through the district is aided by the Brown Line 'L'.
