- Chicago PD: You need to report a crime or have one solved. Madison is one of the younger detectives in the Police Department, so she would be one of the first you would speak to. She's currently assigned to the Southwest Side.
- Street Beat: You spend a lot of time out on the streets. Detective Sterling is a common sight walking the sidewalk on the Southwest Side. Word is that she's out at all times in the day or night, as if she never had or wanted to sleep.
- Empath: You want someone to talk to. For whatever reason, Madison seems like the right person to talk to. Word is that she'll lend a sympathetic ear and is slow to judge. That she's in law enforcement seems like an odd career choice. (Merit: Empath)

- Local: You know everyone in the local Protectorate. Madison grew up and changed in Chicago. Her adoptive father was a mid-ranked Rahu of the Iron Masters who died four years ago defending the Accord from threats linked to the nearby Wound. Word is that her parents were local Wolf-Blooded who died over twenty years ago. Word is also that she's something of a pacifist. (Merit: Peacemaker)
- Ithauer: You need someone to deal with a spirit. Madison may not be a Bone Shadow, but she's still an Ithauer. Word is that she's not the sort to up and kill one, though, but negotiating can be just as effective (and sometimes much safer).
- Iron Masters: You need someone to help you navigate Chicago's urban jungle. Who better than an Iron Master police detective? Word is that she knows the Hisil's reflection of the city so well she could navigate it blindfolded. (Merit: Direction Sense)
