Lucius
Lucius is a tall man by most yard sticks and he possesses a presence that is hard to ignore. Though he doesn't appear to be overly large or muscled, he gives off a sense of solidity and confidence that firmly cements his existence. Dark, perfectly coifed hair is complemented by a thick but closely-trimmed beard that graces his jaw with clean lines and a sharp appearance. A smile -- often cheeky in nature -- seems to be ever present on his lips or else in the corners of his hazel-green eyes. He is not lacking in years, but they've been extraordinarily kind on him, giving him the appearance of experience and wisdom without sapping the strength in his limbs.
Today he wears a light grey suit, formal in its clear expense and tailoring if not in the actual cut. No tie accompanies the arrangement, and beneath the open blazer he sports a black shirt which he wears with the top few buttons undone. Slim-fit grey slacks, a pair of nice Nordstrom loafers, and a silver Swatch complete the look.
There's a lot of publicly available information on the history of Lucius Shaw. Most of it is recognizably spin to anyone with a basic level of media awareness, but the bullet points go as such:
- Lucius Shaw was born to young, hard-working parents who wanted nothing more than a better, more prosperous life for their only son.
- After working himself to the bone at the University of California, Berkeley to earn a Business Administration and Management degree, Lucius graduated near the top of his class.
- Lucius received a small loan from his grandfather, a private man with little interest in catching the public eye, and used it to start his company: Omega Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology.
- With a lot of hard work and a bit of luck, Lucius managed to guide his company to success, creating medicines and biotech that helps save lives every day.
Medicine: Lucius Shaw is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Omega Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology. His company produces and sells life-saving medications, prosthetics, surgical aids, and a large assortment of other medically relevant products and services.
Fame 2 (Business): He's not exactly a household name, but Lucius has earned something of a reputation across the nation -- at least among financiers and others who follow stock market trends -- as a savvy businessman with a solid track record.
Supernatural: Among an entirely different interest group, Lucius is also known to be deeply interested in the Supernatural and apparently is in the know on quite a few things that should be secrets to mortals. He hasn't yet joined the Accords, but it's only a matter of time before he earns (or buys) his way in.
Crime: It's more or less an open secret that you can't become as successful as Lucius has without bending the law to suit your needs. However, Lucius takes it a step further and actively consorts with some pretty unsavory types. One can only guess why he keeps such company...
Politics: Lucius isn't a politician and doesn't appear to have any interest in becoming one this early in his career, but he's always happy to donate to the election campaign of folks favorable to his interests.
