Lincoln
At a couple inches over five and a half feet, Lincoln doesn't exactly loom over others. In fact, between his height, his relatively alabaster skin, and his pitch-black hair that he keeps cut in a mop of curls atop his head, he seems to blend in well with the shadows. He sports a dusting of matching black scruff along a strong jaw and chin that remains well groomed and tightly manicured. Just as with his hair and beard, his eyes are also dark, and tend to watch the world around him with a piercing focus and sharp attentiveness. Though he's not exactly burly, he clearly maintains a high-level of fitness. His body is lithe and lean, and he moves with the measured, deliberate grace of an athlete.
Today he wears layers, sporting a plain white tee beneath a thin, black bomber jacket. Dark jeans and vintage converse in excellent shape complete the look, giving him an unassuming, casual air.
Information on Lincoln's past is hard to find, and he doesn't seem particularly willing to offer it up freely. In-depth research might dig up a few interesting details, though. For one, he seems almost to have appeared out of thin air in the Summer of 2020 before purchasing a small plot of land in the middle of Nowhere, Missouri. There, he went almost entirely off the grid before reappearing a year later in Chicago where he purchased a rundown pawn shop, renamed it Phil's Pawn and Payday Loans, then spent the next year living an otherwise quiet and uneventful life.
Perhaps most interesting, is that if one were to dig even deeper, they might find record of another Lincoln Mills fitting his description who was born in 1936. This Lincoln Mills joined the CIA in 1958 during the height of the Cold War, served two highly classified years in the Agency, and then disappeared in 1960 at which point he was eventually considered MIA.
Pawn: Lincoln owns a Pawn shop in O'Hare where he's generally regarded as being a shrewd but fair broker of all things unwanted and valuable.
Fixer: Less well known is the fact that Lincoln is pretty adept at solving problems and acquiring items.
Information Broker: Lincoln doesn't pretend to know everything that goes on in the city, and he'd tell you anyone who claims they do is a liar or a fool. However, he's quite skilled at finding information... for the right price, of course.
Thief-for-Hire: If you need something, and someone else has it, Lincoln can generally get it into your hands no matter the safe or security keeping it locked up.
Changeling: Lincoln is a Darkling who spent years in the shadows listening to secrets and stealing precious artifacts for his Keeper. Now that he's managed to find freedom, he's decided to put his skills to work for the betterment of his fellow Lost. His final service, offered only to other Changelings, is the clean 'removal' of Fetches.
