Description

This sturdily built man is about 5'9" or so. He's thickly built, with wide shoulders and a heavily built body. He has clear muscle, but it isn't the tightly defined muscle of a model. He even has the tiniest bit of belly, though it is clearly muscled and not just chubbiness. He's a hairy man, with thick, dark hair cut to a few inches, and a decently trimmed beard. He's handsome, if not in a classic way. His hands are rough and calloused.

He tends towards sturdy jeans and boots, along with various off-the-rack t-shirts, flannels and a heavy brown jacket with a furred hood.

History

Caleb has led a rough life.

From university in New Orleans to being drafted into the Confederate Army of Western Louisiana. From rising to officer, to returning home to his family and growing a simmering hatred for what the South had stood for at the time. He moved them to Gary, Indiana and ended up turning his back on his profession in education to become an outlaw.

Years and years were spent racing across the country, robbing banks, holding hostages, and committing numerous horrid crimes with the gang (The Whately Gang) under him. They often targeted people who made money off of the slave labor that was 'gone' in the West. He was finally caught in Cherokee Territory by a group of Marshall's who chased him off their territory, and he was gunned down in the rain. He was Embraced, then, and taken into the world of the Kindred.

Since then he's served the ideas of the Great Experiment, acting as an academic and political guru for new Carthians. He was mainly settled in Boulder, Colorado. Now, he's come to Chicago to keep an eye out over a living descendant, and do what he can to carve a niche out for himself.

RP Hooks

Old West - He led the Whateley Gang for almost 20 years in the 1800's, wreaking all kindsa of havoc across the west. He sent money home, and kept only a little. Thanks to him, his gang was actually well-educated. Not that it mattered much when spattered with blood.

Wolf-Blood - His little sister went through his Change when she was fourteen, and from then on for the rest of his mortal life he did everything he could to work with and aid the wolves. In fact, a LOT of the things his gang did were actually to cover up or in service to werewolf actions across the West. Sure, he did some shitty and terrible things still, but most of them were being commanded by Wolves. Not all, but many.
