Description
A head full of sun-kissed copper hair is usually the first thing that people notice about this young woman, an effortless wavy tumble that will fall to her mid waist unless gathered up, kissed with gold in the right light. Pale skin is almost luminous, though there’s a little sprinkling of freckles across the bridge of her nose to warm her. Stormy dark blue eyes regard the world at a somewhat dreamy distance, though her emotions flash through them unrestrained, their intensity sometimes unsettling if it lingers. Her build is on the slim side of conventionally appealing, just enough curve to draw the eye of those who appreciate such things. There’s a certain restlessness about her, as if she needs to be on the move.
History
She arrived in the city a few years ago, though not with great fanfare. She's danced at a few clubs, always under a different name, racking up the cash but never staying long. Almost as if she was seeking something specific, and then when found, she once more vanished back into the shadows. But she never misses a performance by a certain local ballet company, though those two worlds don't seem to overlap very often. True crime sleuths with an interest in missing persons stories might get a ping of vague familiarity, though it probably soon passes. Different name, many years ago now, and disappearing young women are a dime a dozen in certain areas, aren't they?
RP Hooks
- Autumn Court Changeling While for most of the last several years Fiametta has not been a strong presence about the Freehold, she's coming more in to her own. Nothing is more delicious than diverting the fear a predator of the Lost right back into that would-be stalker's heart. Or helping others remember to feel alive by riding that razor's edge of fear. Like many of her court, she follows perhaps some strange superstitions, and seems familiar with the occult; but to the mortal world she still tries to keep that close to her chest.
- Performing Arts Fan Fiametta never misses a performance of one of the premier ballet companies in the city, but there are many others of various styles as well as a few theatres that she attends frequently, many times accompanied by Razi. If your character is a performer (especially in dance, but other things as well) and you want a background of her having followed your career, let me know and we'll work something out. Even if it's just anonymous notes of encouragement.
- Satin and Savagery She's a headline dancer at Satin, under the performing name Sunstone. It's a fantasy, aided by the environment, costume, cosmetics, but it's also an outlet, a place she doesn't have to hide at least that facet of her fire. It is possible she could be recognized (and definitely would be by anyone who can see past her mortal mask) out on the street. Sometimes she can be found amongst the patrons in Savagery, watching quietly. She's protective of those who work there, too.
- Old True Crime There's a certain subset of people who enjoy poking around cold cases/missing person stuff. It might be that she triggers a familiarity response because of that too, though her case never received much attention other than brief mentions, maybe a missing person flyer if you were in the right area almost 20 years ago.
