All vamps get a free dot of status in their covenant/clan/praxis at approval. If you did not, please let staff know.
Covenant and Praxis status can be bought in multiple Covenants or Praxes, up to 5 total dots. If you have Status 3 in your covenant, you can only ever have 2 dots of status in other covenants.
The coin cost represents doing tasks for the Praxis/Covenant that you wish to gain status in. It doesn't matter how you acquire the coin - the expenditure towards Status is 'I am doing things for the clan/covenant/praxes at personal cost to myself'.
An Unaligned PC joining a Covenant will pay 2 coins, but no xp for the first dot. This represents having to work your way into the Covenant, but also the xp break given at CG for that first dot.
A PC leaving a Covenant to join another will lose a dot of status in the previous Covenant. This mitigates the XP cost, but the coin for the first dot would still need to be paid. As well, this provides a -1 to your max total status dots and will require working with staff to restore.

Staff is happy to run scenes for earning coins to go towards Status raises.

- 2 = 2 coins, 1 xp
- 3 = 4 coins, 1 xp
- 4 = 8 coins, 1 xp
- 5 = 16 coins, 1 xp
- Costs for Status in other Covenants or Praxes are:
- 1 = 2 coins, 1 xp
- 2 = 4 coins, 1 xp
- 3 = 8 coins, 1 xp
- 4 = 16 coins, 1 xp
- 5 = 32 coins, 1 xp
Once code is implemented, Primogen and Priscus will be determined by +vote within the Clan or Covenant.
