Description
Mount Greenwood is repeatedly labelled as one of the best places to live in Illinois. Excellent diversity, plentiful jobs, low crime, and very welcoming, though expect some more outdated world views. Protests for busing in students of color to their magnet schools is still a thing, here. Unlike most of Chicago, Mount Greenwood is thriving and growing economically, if stagnating a bit in population. Crime here is incredibly low and the police are very much members of this community and loyal to their neighbors.
