Description
Avalon Park is a dichotomy. This neighborhood is middle-class, white collar, and has many excellent bus routes and community activities. Houses are reasonably well maintained and traffic is typical for people who work 9-5 on a business week schedule. Stores and homes are somewhat empty, but it's not exactly run down or desolate.
At night, though, a long-standing gang territory conflict has turned this neighborhood into a literal decades long turf war zone. Two gangs fight from other neighborhoods to claim it as their own and it's not uncommon to find someone dead here by morning.
