A man in his late twenties, handsome enough, with medium-length dirty-blond hair and three days' growth of beard. His features are sharp, his eyes sharper. He's not brawny, but there's a physicality to him that expensive clothes and tousled hair don't manage to hide. Born in the city. Raised in the city. Schooled in the city. Lives in the city. John was expected to finish school and join the Navy, like both of his parents and both of his grandfathers, but much to his parents' great disappointment opted for law school instead. He was supposed to take a promising job at a high-profile firm specializing in trial defense, but to his parents' growing frustration opted to start his own practice specializng in immigration law. A year into that practice, and he used a trust from his grandfather to endow a new community center in a decidedly unsavory part of Chicago. Now John is struggling to balance his work as executive director of the Albert Anderson Raby Community Center against his case load, and both of those against his other... Responsibilities. John is also Uratha, Rahu of the Suthar Anzuth, and great things are expected of Aziha Zuu. • Attorney at Law - John is an attorney, specializing in immigration law. Proximity to the Chicago Immigration Court makes it certain that he never lacks for clients. • Albert Anderson Raby Community Center - John is the Executive Director of the newly-founded Albert Anderson Raby Community Center. • Local Boy - John is a Chicago kid from a prominent Chicago family, raised in the city and schooled at Northwestern. • Struggling - John doesn't have all of the skills necessary to run a community center, or even to manage a law firm with only one practicing attorney, and the people who work for him have started to notice.
