This intense, handsome wolf is a good 6' even. His skin is fair and smooth, while his dark hair is a bit bristly, like a wolf's hair. It's a few inches long, and while he is often clean-shaven, he can be found with salt and pepper stubble sometimes. His eyes are the intense, bright color of a timber wolf, and he has notably sharp canine teeth. It gives him a bit of a wolfish look that shows he has low Wyrd, but is a wolf of some sort, perhaps.
Jack Hawthorne is a Chicago local. This city is in his blood, for better or worse. His dad bit it in World War Two, and he grew up with a lot of issues and a number of failed father figures. He became a cop, much to his mom's surprise, and was a really straight-laced one, too. Through the 1950's and 60's he was one of the better known vice cops in Illinois, helping break down numerous organizations and illicit activities. He married, had kids, and overall, was a good man. His partner, of course, was as corrupt as they come, and he still wakes up sweating from when he had to put a bullet in the man's brainpan on a rainswept rooftop. Seriously, his life could have been a kick ass novel or movie. Then all the Faerie shit happened. He remembers dark woodlands and swampy moors. He remembers being a hunter and a killer. A predator. A cannibal. He led a pack of others like him and...well, honestly, it's best he doesn't remember too much of it beyond nightmares. When he got out he found that his Fetch had finished out his career, and was now an excellent great-grandfather, aging away in a small apartment in downtown Chicago. The two of them came to a deal...almost a friendship. Jack then turned his back on his old life and became what he once hunted. Over the last decade he has become one of the rising criminal figures in the state, prospering primarily off of drugs and prostitution. He's always looking to expand and grow, however. Always.
Family Man : In more ways then one. Sure, he's an organized crime boss, but also, he's a family man. His real family thinks his Fetch is him, so he has little to nothing to do with them, but he does wish he could be around them again. So, the guy is problematic, but might unknowingly be looking for a new situation like that. A wife. A home life. All that. Wolf : He's the Big Bad Wolf. He has wolfish instincts he struggles with sometimes...which can either lead to a fun time or a very violent one, depending. He's a hunter at heart, and when push comes to shove he goes for the throat. Spring : Jack represents the darker side of his Court. He supplies to desires with drugs and prostitution and anything else a mortal desires that the lawful would frown on. He also loves to party, when he can. Sex Work : This is an era where sex workers can work their own shit online with ease, but he runs a good business through some local brothels. Various establishments cater to the more blue-collar, to the very wealthy and selective, when he can. Always hiring, of course. Investments : Jack is looking for investments. Have a business that could use some help and don't mind letting the monster in through the back door a little? Let's talk. Hiring : All sorts of criminal jobs are handled by NPCs, but PC members of his organization are fantastic. Whether you are a long-time employee, or recently being hired on-grid, it's all good. Don't hesitate to page or @mail me. Hawthorne Family : The Hawthorne Family is the loose name of the new syndicate in town. The Branzino Family had been around since the 1920's, mostly struggling and as a very minor power compared to the bigger organized crime groups in the city. Jack joined them about a decade ago and worked his way up...before staging a rather brutal coup. He's been running it for about a year now, and is reshaping things to fit his own preferences. Untouchable : He has the Untouchable merit. Actually tracing things back to him with any real credibility is VERY hard to do. Delilah - Hiring within the community is the way to go. Let's see if she can do what she's paid for. I have high hopes.
