Background
Straight out of Las Vistas and onto the streets - he's oh so mean, he's oh so clean, he's a cholito-badboy-gangsta-sensation supreme and if you've lived in Logan Square for a while, you've probably seen him and Las Águilas patrolling...and if you've been here since the end of the Vietnam War, then you might know a thing or two about their tale. But this story is about our boy Cleon, or at least what folks would know. Son of the infamous Raimundo Cortez who's serving life up in Metro, brother to the deceased legends Gustavo and Calvin Cortez, young blood has a big pair of shoes to fill and a lion's heart filled with ambition. Enough people know Cleon to know if you don't fuck with la familia, if you pay dues for protection, you're probably in good hands, but more than one bar has had fights broken up and instigators left beaten (and missing their wallets) when the owner calls the youngest Cortez.
