Located just twelve miles from the loop one can find this little gem of historic Chicago with a glimpse back to the architecture of the industrial revolution. The Pullman Historic District, a National Historic Landmark District still stands proudly to this day much as it had back in the 1880s with tell-tale signs of the model company town that it once was before the city swallowed it up. was built from scratch and an innovative concept at the time.

The neighborhood itself now showing signs of gentrification in newly remodeled historic homes and trendy little businesses as well as a few of the older holdouts in the form of bookstores and antique stores still dotting the streets here.
