Description

One of the more prosperous communities in Chicago, West Ridge is made up of a blend of historic mansions, large family homes and private gated communities, mingled with multi-ethnic businesses offering food, entertainment and services from a wide variety of cultures including Jewish, Indian, Assyrian and Korean amongst many others.

Places of interest in this area include the Indian Boundary Park, the Bosnian Islamic Cultural Center, and the many synagogues which include the Congregation Ezras Israel and the Congregation Beth Itzchok. For recreation, there is also the grassy acreage of the Robert. A Black golf course.

There is no 'L' line serving this district, but a regular bus service is available.
